Winton, the British-based systematic investment manager founded by David Harding in 1997, is launching the Winton Diversified Fund (UCITS) on 3 July 2017. The fund will be UCITS-compliant and regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.

The Winton Diversified Fund (UCITS) is Winton’s first UCITS-compliant version of its longstanding diversified investment program, which has delivered 12.5% per annum since inception (October 1997) as at 1 June 2017. The fund will have weekly liquidity and is being launched in response to broad investor demand across Europe. The fund will be investable in GBP, EUR, USD and CHF, and application for passporting will be made in the UK, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway.

David Harding, Winton’s founder and CEO, says: “We are pleased to be making our Diversified Program directly available to European institutions. UCITS is a proven and robust European regulatory framework, and we believe the Winton Diversified Fund (UCITS) could provide a valuable long-term option to investors responsible for the assets of European savers.”
